About
Angled Trees is a one-person project dedicated to exploring the corners of indie music that often slip under the radar. From post-punk and shoegaze to jangle pop and off-kilter indie rock, the focus is on sounds that feel genuine, overlooked, and worth sharing.
The name Angled Trees is a reference to my hometown, where my passion for music first started to bloom as I grew up playing in bands and touring the northeast of the US.
I spend a lot of time digging through new releases, demos, and deep cuts — and this blog is where I highlight the songs and artists that resonate most with me. Updates happen as often as possible (sometimes weekly, sometimes less), but always with intention.
Alongside the blog, Angled Trees is growing into a label. The goal is simple: to support music I believe in through releases, collaborations, and the occasional live event.
I’m always open to hearing new music. If you’re making something you think would fit — or if you have a recommendation — send it my way: blog[@]angledtrees.com. I listen to everything.
Also, please subscribe to our Spotify playlist on the side bar. This playlist is updated on a quarterly basis with our favorite music.
And above all else, please support the artists that we showcase by going to their shows and picking up their merch!
